“ This group is just what I need to get myself back into art after many years of marraige, work in an unrelated field (software), sudden widowhood and many other things life has thrown at me. It is great because there is no pressure--no instruction--yet I can take a peak at others work around me. Many of them are highly skilled and they inspire me to go on, give me new ideas as to media and ways to work. It's a wonderful group and very modestly priced compared to a formal class. ”

“ great group and well organized with the artist in mind ”

“ Large top floor loft space in a remodled SODO brick building. Lots of room and plenty of easels and horses to choose from. The models are always top notch, and the progression of short to long poses always has me 'seeing' by the end of the session. The space is complete with couches and plenty of art books and figure-centric inspiration decorating the walls. The folks that attend are warm and supportive, the atmosphere is laid back with so many different styles and approaches to drawing - inspiring! And the group is always open to specific poses if there's a project you're working on. The models always comment how much they like the session and overall vibe, including Wyatt's wide mix of music. I rate this five out of five charcoal sticks. One tip: the building is north of Safeco Field so remember to check the game schedule and plan travel times/parking accordingly. ”

“ This session was well organized, casual, and productive. It follows a familiar art school format of short gestures, followed by longer 20 minute poses. The attendees seemed a diverse mix. I found it to be exactly what I had been seeking in Ballard to keep my hand in practice. ”

“ Excellent model, nice vibe. I personally would have preferred the music to be a lower volume--it was good music, though occasionally distracting, and because of the volume it was difficult to screen it out. Otherwise, an excellent session--please bring back this model, she was very good, friendly, a pleasant subject all around. ”
