Dr. Sketchy's Seattle supports local performers earning a living wage for their art, while giving artists a monthly ritual of spiced up fun. No drawing experience required. You can even win prizes through art contests or raffle drawings.
Details for Meetup members: Poses range from 1 minute-20 minutes. Although some performers have experience posing for artists, most do not. Because we are in a bar there is no nudity, but most performers strip down to pasties, and you can drink and draw! Expect vivid costumes and rowdy fun, you have to try it at least once...
Notes:
Sorry, No Photography, unless you're Press. See FAQ on Website for details.
No messy or stinky mediums, and sharpen pencils over a trash can. Neat watercolor sets are okay.
