What types of art materials/mediums do you like to work with?

Mainly oil on canvas, linen, and wood panel. Sketching with charcoal.

What is your figure drawing experience and what would you like from a figure drawing meetup?

I have attended several figure drawing sessions in Lynnwood, WA for the last couple years. I am recently discovering what is available in Seattle as I recently moved in to Capitol Hill from Everett. I hope to get a variety of models with different interesting features and angles to draw from. To connect with other artists and be part of a community where I can give and receive feedback for mutual benefit.

Do you have a current art project? Idea? Do you need help with it?

One of my recent projects is Shadows of Self, self-portraiture of sorts that seeks to reflect a gamut of feelings and emotions through thick layers of paint and color exploding around the silhouette of my shadow. Another project is Transcendental States, featuring models in a stylized manner and posing meditatively, very similar to Yoga poses. For this project I need both male and female models who can pose for live oil studies as well as photographs that will be used to complete the final works.
