Hi. I'm an artist and sole proprietor of Jinglefish Art. Working through the figure has been an important part of studying. Always seem to come back to it.

40-something.
Workshops, private lessons and college studio coursework. Oils, watercolor, charcoal, ink, or whatever seems interesting. I look to specifically sharpen my skills as well as use the sessions as an open experiment to shift what I see; at times it's to pull out only a few elements of form and then play. The best sessions have a rich creative energy, focused sense of purpose, and very respectful attitude toward the model who gives so much of his/herself. An edge. A good vibe. Hopefully an exceptional soundtrack.
In each session there is a hope I'll experiment freely with the pulse of energy. No specific project today. That could change tomorrow.
Other art, painting, digital photography, music, sewing, outdoor activities, nature and buying shoes.
Very nice group of people. Open, mutually supportive and ready to work. The models did a great job and gave a wonderful variety of poses and gestures. There were many possibilities. These just get better and better.
