Introduction

We've been hosting this drawing session for over 20 years now, to create a place for artists to hone their skills, meet up and discuss whatever is on their minds. I joined Meetup when Johnny B. posted our session here.

What are your passions?

The three Ds: Drawing, Dancing and Drinking

What types of art materials/mediums do you like to work with?

Oil, Charcoal, Ink, Ballpoint Pen, Digital Imaging and Photography.

What is your figure drawing experience and what would you like from a figure drawing meetup?

My experience is not as developed as I'd like. I want to get to the point that I can draw the figure more accurately from memory.

Do you have a current art project? Idea? Do you need help with it?

I'm currently studying faces and flesh tones with a series of portraits. I'm also working on a body of work focused on partner dancing, primarily swing and salsa.

Besides Figure Drawing - What Hobbies/Interests do you have?

Painting, photography, reading science blogs, dancing swing and salsa and spoiling my niece and nephew.
