I'm an artist and writer who moved to the Seattle area a few years ago and am trying to get more involved with the local art community.

I've been both a teacher and a student, which is pretty much the way life is meant to go .
I am currently volunteering at the Fremont Abbey to teach a art course in July 2007.
I am also a writer.

Sureshot is delicious coffee (and tea) with big round tables which would be well suited to our usual Buffy discuss-o-rama!![]()
Nice chatting to you at the singalong, maybe I'll make one of these here writer's meetings someday! (If I can unclog the blocked pipelines of my creativity anytime soon anyway...)
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Thom's figure drawing/paintin
g/sculpting class at Fremont Abbey. Thom's teaching style was very low-key -- he would give just a few pointers on the basics, then stand back and let us go at it. Our class was made up of people with wildly varying levels of experience and ability, and Thom 's laid-back approach made it comfortable for us to be working together. A cool guy.
