What types of art materials/mediums do you like to work with?

I'm 50 years old. I was born in Germany on 11/24/1957. I immigrated to Seattle when I was 3 months old, then moved to the Big Island of Hawaii when I was 25. I just moved back to the Seattle area In May of 2007 to be caregiver to my parents.

What is your figure drawing experience and what would you like from a figure drawing meetup?

I just started to pick up pad and pencil and found I have some talent that I would like to develop. I also want to pick up some modeling tips by watching other models pose.

Do you have a current art project? Idea? Do you need help with it?

No I have no current art project in mind. But would like to model with other models. I have no hangups with modeling with either gender.

Besides Figure Drawing - What Hobbies/Interests do you have?

I like volley ball, frisbee, hiking, dancing, biking, and making things with my hands.

I was at the Boys R Us session last Thursday, and really enjoyed drawing you. I'm surprised to discover that you haven't been modeling for decades--your poses had great variety, and you hold them so well. I look forward to seeing you around--if not as a model, then maybe as a fellow artist.

Hoagie is a fasntastic model and it is hard to believe he has been doing this for such a short time. He holds poses very well with no movement and because he is such a freindly person, he is comfortable and easy to work with. I enjoy drawing him and we refer to him as a "living anatomy lesson" because he is in fantastic shape. Hoagie is great on all levels.
