I just moved to Seattle/Ballard and am looking for figure drawing sessions to keep up my skills.
Family, and food (cooking).
Pencil, pen, Macintosh.
I took a couple of figure drawing classes at SVC in Seattle. I got my MFA in illustration from SVA (New York) where I took a few figure classes. I'm seeking sessions of 2-3 hours with short and medium length poses.
Currently no jobs or projects, due to full time stay at home parenting.
Cooking, running.
This session was well organized, casual, and productive. It follows a familiar art school format of short gestures, followed by longer 20 minute poses. The attendees seemed a diverse mix. I found it to be exactly what I had been seeking in Ballard to keep my hand in practice.
