I am here to make sure my ideas about drawing don't outpace actually "doing" it! I need to make sure the pencil keeps drawing as much as it writes. But I'm also here to meet new people and take in other approaches.
I love depth and archetypal psychology. I'm not sure what I enjoy more: drawing or theorizing about drawing. My favorite thing is to mix psychology, mythology, and drawing.
Mostly animation tools: Black prismacolor and col-erase pencils on newsprint. I want to move into either watercolor or drawing ink and pen.
I began life drawing in '97 when I was studying Classical Animation at Vancouver Film School. My focus is on gesture drawing. I would love to see theatrical poses with attitude! Expressive, short poses are best for me.
I have 2 big projects going on. First and foremost, I am writing a dissertation on drawing. Next on deck is pre-production on an animated Russian Fairy Tale. Learning to draw long braided hair is the current drawing challenge.
Dreams! I study an approach, called "Dreamtending" which engages dream figures as living images rather than interpreting them as ideas.

Hi Keith, I was sitting next to Ken Sharp at Arts Umbrella today. I wanted to let you know that I benefited from being able to eavesdrop on some of your helpful suggestions to him. Your willingness to share your experience is appreciated. Thanks.
